Good afternoon. I’m Merle Nathan, Director of Hearing Professionals of IL. As you know, IL is under a shelter at home order from Governor Pritzker for nonessential business. This morning , the American Academy of Audiology issued their own statement that audiology falls under this category. Following guidelines to help “ flatten the curve”, we at Hearing Professionals of IL will be doing our part to help minimize the spread of Covid-19. The health and safety of our patients, audiologists, staff, families and communities is our top priority. Please stay home and stay safe. If you have upcoming appointments you will be receiving a call to reschedule. If you have hearings aids out for repair they will be available for pick up by curbside service at our offices. If you have hearing aids that stop working, please call our office at 847- 674-5585 and we will be happy to troubleshoot with you over the phone or we can provide curbside drop off service at your convenience at one of our offices. We want your hearing aids to be working and we are still available to help you. We are in constant contact with our offices and will be checking messages daily. Should you need Ear Nose &Throat medical care our ENTs will be communicating with patients via telehealth with carefully scheduled urgent visits. We will be assessing this situation on a daily basis as events are evolving and changing very quickly. All of us at Hearing Professionals of IL and ENT of IL appreciate your understanding during this difficult time and we look forward to continuing to provide you with face to face care in the near future.
